Staff Writer Positions

Staff Writers

Staff writers compose the Core OPUS Staff. They develop articles from the ground up specifically for each OPUS issue. They work alongside the Editors to conceptualize, develop, and refine their pieces, and assist Junior Staff Writers in completing one article per year.

Our newly appointed staff members are: David Freedman, Alfredo Novoa, Mercedes Okosi, Nina Schneider, and Scarlett Wang. 

Junior Staff Writers

Junior Staff writers supplement the Core OPUS Staff by working towards the development of one piece throughout the Fall and Spring semesters to be published in the Spring Edition of OPUS. They are matched with a Core Staff Member with similar research interests to facilitate and support the ability to formulate a conceptually sound research question, evaluate the research literature with a critical eye, and complete a publication-level APA-style article. Junior Staff writers often graduate to Core Staff  Writers after a year with OPUS.

Our newly appointed junior staff members are:  Vasiliki Gliagias, Elizabeth Muller, Shaina Pakravan, and Jasmine Sundri.
