The curriculum in Nutrition and Food Studies: Food Studies requires completion of 128 credits. These are divided into five categories:

Students must enroll in New Student Seminar SAHS-UE 0001 (0 pts) during the first semester in residence, to review basic college-level skills and to obtain an introduction to NYU's academic and personal resources and services.

Academic Standards

Food Studies majors matriculating at NYU in Fall 2014 or later are expected to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in order to make satisfactory academic progress
