Research Alliance Co-Hosts Conference on Strategies to Improve Outcomes for Black and Latino Males

The Research Alliance’s Deputy Director Dr. Adriana Villavicencio—in collaboration with Rosann Tung of the Annenberg Institute for School Reform—will lead a two-day conference focused on systemic efforts to improve educational outcomes for Black and Latino males. On September 18-19, with support from the American Educational Research Association, the convening will bring together research-practice partnerships from seven districts. These teams will share knowledge about initiatives aimed at better meeting the emotional, social, and cultural needs of Black and Latino male students in order to promote more positive educational outcomes.
