Dr. Maloney at ENCATC in Brussels

Dr. Richard Maloney took part in presenting the 2016 ENCATC Research Award for Cultural Policy and Cultural Management in Brussels, Belgium on December 16, 2017. ENCATC is the leading network for Cultural Administration training in the world.

Dr. Maloney, a member of the seven-person jury of international scholars who selected the winner, took part in the ceremony which was attended by international researchers and academics, representatives from the European Commission, policy makers, cultural practitioners, and artists.

Dr. Elena Borin won the highly competitive award for her doctoral dissertation, “Public – Private Partnership in Cultural Sector: A Comparative Analysis of European Models” which was successfully defended at the University of Ferrara (Italy) earlier in 2016.
