Doctoral Candidate Jamie Cacciola-Price Receives Prestigious New York State Empire Excellence in Teaching Award

Jamie Cacciola-Price, incoming EdD student at NYU Steinhardt, recently became one of the first recipients of the New York State Empire in Excellence Teaching Award. The Award seeks to honor teachers who are preparing future generations of learners by leveling the playing field, creating and foster environments where every child can learn, exemplify teaching excellence, and inspires students to show that learning can be enjoyable. Cacciola-Price is also the Programs Assistant for the prestigious Astor International Travel Award Program. Each year, twelve  New York City Public School teachers are awarded a ten day, fully-funded, educational trip with NYU Steinhardt Faculty.
