Music Business alums Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, who comprise the Epic Records duo A Great Big World, continue their rise to fame.
A Great Big World won the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their hit single "Say Something."
"Say Something" reached number one on the iTunes Songs chart, entered the Billboard Digital Songs chart at number one, and has gone platinum in YouTube views. It has been viewed more than 200 million times on Vevo. It is being played on top radio stations across the country. They celebrated the release of their CD, Is There Anybody Out There?, with a sold out show at the Highline Ballroom in New York City
Their performance of "Say Something" at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was a highlight of the annual lingerie event. They also performed the song with Christina Aguilera on the 2013 American Music Awards and on NBC's The Voice. Aguilera recorded the song with them earlier this fall. They recently competed against twelve other musical groups in MTV's Buzzworthy Breakthrough Artist of 2013 contest.
They opened for Maroon 5 on two New Year's Eve shows in Las Vegas, highlighting their song "This is the New Year."
