NYU Education and Jewish Studies program well-represented at Network for Research in Jewish Education Conference
The Network for Research in Jewish Education held its annual conference in June 2012 in Boston. Many of those who participated in the conference are involved with the NYU Education and Jewish Studies doctoral program. Of the approximately 150 attendees at the conference, eight were current PhD students, four were alumni, two are current faculty, and three were affiliates of the program. Of this group of 17, 14 presented on the program.
The conference chair was alumna Rabbi Professor Karen Reiss-Medwed, and the program chair was alumna Rabbi Professor Tali H. Zelkowicz (nee Hyman).
Current doctoral student Arielle Levites was awarded the NRJE Emerging Scholar award.
