Nominate a Distinguished Administrator

Dear Steinhardt Community Members:

The University recently announced that it is accepting nominations for this year’s NYU Distinguished Administrator Award. The award recognizes administrators (Code 100s) whose administrative and professional performance contributes to our excellence and sets an example for our entire community.  The University presents up to five awards that are announced at a special ceremony in the spring and are accompanied by a cash gift of $5,000.

This is an outstanding opportunity for each of us to show our appreciation to colleagues who support us in our work and the Steinhardt School’s goals and aspirations.  For the past three years, Steinhardt’s nominees—Leslie Brown, Paul Horan, and Jim Ford—were named as recipients, and we hope to continue that tradition.  A formal nomination must be completed in order for one of our administrators to be considered, so please take a moment to nominate a deserving Steinhardt administrator for this award.

The following link provides information on criteria and allows you to submit a nomination:

Although the University indicated a deadline of November 30, 2012, we have established a School deadline of Friday, December 21, 2012.  Additionally, you may also submit a nomination confidentially to Roger Ho, Director of Human Resources, 627 Broadway, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10012.

Thank you for your consideration.
