Leibovitz on Digital Copyright Legislation, A Dissenting View

Liel Leibovitz, visiting assistant professor of Media, Culture, and Communication, published an article about intellectual property rights on the Internet in the January 25, 2011, issue of Dissent Magazine.

The article titled "A Tangled Web: The Misguided Battle against Online Copyright Infringement" analyzes the music industry's missteps in fighting file sharing, and related legislative actions taken by the federal government, specifically the Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeit Act of 2010 (COICA).
