Alan Abrams, NYU Education and Jewish Studies Doctoral Candidate, to Supervise Clinical Pastoral Education Summer Intensive
Alan Abrams will be supervising a full-time 12-week intensive Clinical Pastoral Education this summer at the Jewish Theological Seminary's Center for Pastoral Education. This unique multi-faith program -- generously supported by the UJA-Federation of New York -- emphasizes giving pastoral education students opportunities to practice their skills in social service agencies around the region, as well as in hospice and hospital settings. Alan is a certified Associate Supervisor in the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. He holds a Masters in Talmud from the Jewish Theological Seminary and rabbinic ordination from the Zielger School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles.
