Benson on Journalism and Democracy

Rodney Benson, Associate Professor of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University, was a featured speaker at an international conference on "Journalism and Democracy: Media, Politics and the Public," held in Stockholm, Sweden on October 22, sponsored by the Ax:son Johnson Foundation.

Benson spoke on "forms of democracy and forms of journalism" in a panel focused on the U.S., France, and Sweden. Other panels focused on media in Italy, South Africa, Russia, and China.
