Music Department Opens State-of-the-Art Recording Studio

Construction is coming to a close on the James L. Dolan Music Recording Studio in Steinhardt's Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions.  This new facility features a studio designed by the world renowned Walters-Storyk Design Group, a 25-seat control room and class room with 10.2 channel sound presentation, and a live room large enough for a small orchestra. An audio research laboratory features a reconfigurable grid of speakers and microphones for 3D-Audio experiments and research.
