Potential Exhibition Opportunity for Art Department Alumni

This Spring, the Department of Art and Art Professions at Steinhardt is offering "Curatorial Praxis," a new course in the MA Visual Arts Administration Program. The final projects in the course are student-curated exhibits that will take place in a variety of public spaces on the NYU campus, including the Washington Square Windows. The students in the course will be conducting studio visits with current BFA and MFA students -- and we want them to have the opportunity to visit some studios of our alumni too!

Do you live in the NYC area? Would you like your work considered for exhibition on NYU's campus? Would you be interested in hosting a current Arts Administration graduate student for a visit in your studio? Do you have a current website, blog, MYSPACE page, or flickr page where students can initially see your work?

If so, please send an email with the link to your artwork to Melissa Rachleff Burtt at mjr2007@nyu.edu.

After your work is reviewed online, Curatorial Praxis students may contact you directly to schedule a studio visit throughout the Spring '09 semester. If you do not hear from a student this semester, please note that this course is going to be offered on a regular basis and you may hear from a student in the future.
