Film Scoring Program World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

The 2008 Tribeca Film Festival included two live screenings of the silent masterpiece, Two Timid Souls (Les Deux Timides), directed and written by René Clair (France, 1929). The archival print, provided by the Cinematheque Francaise, featured the world premiere of an original film score score composed by NYU Steinhardt film scoring master's students:
Jaebon Hwang, Jin Kyung Lee, Jihwan Kim, and Seon Kyong Kim.
The event was produced by Ron Sadoff, Director of the Film Scoring Program at NYU Steinhardt. The film score was performed live by the NYU
Steinhardt Chamber Orchestra, and conducted by Gillian B. Anderson, a premiere musicologist and conductor active in silent film score reconstruction and performance.
