As of winter 2007, here is a selected performance listing of recent Vocal Performance Alumni:
Kevin Kern has most recently been seen as a swing and the understudy for Glen and George in the original Broadway cast of The Wedding Singer. He previously appeared as Marius in the closing cast of Les Miserables. Off-Broadway, Kevin has appeared as a swing in the original cast of Altar Boyz and in Finians Rainbow as Woody. Regionally he has been seen as Sklar/Beguelin in The Rhythm Club at Signature Theater.
Erica Piccinnini is currently one of the leads in the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys. Most recently she has appeared as Liz in Palm Beach: The Screwball Musical at La Jolla Playhouse. Her regional credits include; Swing!, Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, The Fantasticks, and Footloose.
Elena Shadow is currently playing the role of Clara in the National Tour of The Light in the Piazza. She was most recently seen in the ensemble and the Laura Fairlie understudy in the recent Andrew Lloyd Webber Broadway musical Woman in White. Before that, she was on Broadway as Grandma Tzeitel in the recent revival of Fiddler on the Roof and Renata (opposite Antonio Banderas) in Nine. Additional Broadway credits include productions of Sweet Smell of Success and Les Miserables. (Elena received her first Broadway role during her senior year in the Vocal Performance/Music Theatre program at NYU Steinhardt.) In London, Elena was Magnolia in the recent West End production of Show Boat in England.
Haviland Stillwell will soon be performing in the return Broadway production of Les Miserables. She has also been seen in the recent Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof as Grandma Tzeitel and Surcha.
Peter Lockyer is currently the Jewler/Phantom/Raoul understudies in the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera. Other Broadway credits include the ensemble of La Boheme, Marius in Les Miserables, Chris in Miss Saigon, and the ensemble of Cyrano. Peter was a student at NYU Steinhardt during his Broadway roles in Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera.
