The Steinhardt School of Education’s teacher education program has been accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council for a period of five years. The accreditation certifies that the Steinhardt’s teacher education program has provided evidence that it adheres to TEAC’s quality principles. The accreditation affirms the claim that NYU Steinhardt uses evidence to develop and improve its programs that prepare teachers.
