Occupational Therapy Professor Receives Two Grants

Yael Goverover, an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy, has received two grants—one from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) and another from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Under the NIDRR grant, Goverover will address problems of self-awareness and activity limitations among individuals with traumatic brain injuries. With the National Multiple Sclerosis Society grant, she will study the application of cognitive psychology strategies to improve learning and memory in individuals living with multiple sclerosis.
