Alex Galloway Receives Grant for Digital Art Installation

Alex Galloway, assistant professor in Culture and Communication, received a grant in February for a digital art installation from Creative Capital Foundation, a national arts organization that supports artists. 

The project, entitled "Want," is a six-channel video installation using Internet peer-to-peer networks and actors portraying the obsessive desires of six types of common Internet users. 

Galloway is represented as"RSG" in the joint project by artists known as "MTAA + RSG."
