Paul Cohen is active as a performer, teacher, historian, musicologist and author in areas all related to the saxophone. He has appeared as soloist with numerous ensembles, including the San Francisco Symphony, New Jersey Symphony and Philharmonia Virtuosi. Combining musicological pursuits with performing activities, Dr. Cohen has rediscovered and performed lost saxophone literature by such composers as Loeffler, Florio and Dahl.
