Faculty: Paul Speiser

Paul Speiser, baritone, has appeared as Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Schlendrian in J. S. Bach’s Coffee Cantata, and Sam in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti at New York University. Other favorite performances include a staged version of Wolf’s Italienisches Liederbuch, as well as Respighi's puppet opera La bella dormente nel bosco at Spoleto Festival USA and Lincoln Center Festival. He has been a member of the Carmel Bach Festival Chorale since 2007. Paul holds degrees in music from Lawrence University and Westminster Choir College, and is a candidate for a PhD from New York University, where, as an adjunct faculty member, he teaches both classical and music theatre voice and conducts the Vocal Performance Chorale.
