Faculty: Dan Lawler

Dan Lawler is a New York singer, actor, and voice teacher. Off-Broadway credits include the New York Times Critic's Pick With Glee for Prospect Theatre Company and Shine! for the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Other New York credits include productions with Columbia University, Vital Theatre Company, and the Public Theater's Emerging Writers Group. Dan is a frequent creative consultant for NYU’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations, and has directed for the Play Group Theater, The Lucy Moses School, and numerous arts-education programs in the tri-state area. Adjunct Professor of Voice at  NYU Steinhardt’s Program in Vocal Performance, Dan has also served on the voice faculty of Seton Hall University where he taught Applied Voice and stage directed the Musical Theatre Workshop and mainstage productions. Dan is a member of Actors' Equity, New York Singing Teachers Association, and NATS. Education: BM, Ithaca College. MM, New York University.
