Music Therapy Curriculum Graduate

Course Plan for Master's Students

This program is approved by the New York State Education Department and qualifies the student for licensure in Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT) after 1500 hours of post graduate supervised practice. The program is also approved by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) and upon graduation qualifies a student to apply for national certification in music therapy (MT-BC).

**Students with prior music therapy certification (MT-BC or the international equivalent) may through interview and audition be excused from as many as 12 points of the required MA program.
