Music Therapy Faculty: Tina Brescia

Tina Brescia is the full time music therapist at the Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Beth Israel Medical Center, Singer Division. She works with pediatric acute care patients and their families. Tina has been training music therapy interns and fieldwork students since 1987 as a site supervisor, and more recently as a site visitor and internship seminar leader. She is a doctoral student in the music therapy program at NYU.
Tina also served on the publications committee for the American Association for Music therapy for 10 years. Her positions included newsletter editor and assistant editor of the journal.
