Music Theatre Faculty: Doug Hodge

Doug Hodge is a working director both in New York City and regionally.  A native of southern California, Mr. Hodge holds a MFA in Musical Theatre from the University of California, Irvine and a BA in Communications from Cal State, Fullerton.  Working first as an actor and then director, he has lived in New York City for the past 14 years.  Directing credits include HIGH SOCIETY, LADY BE GOOD, THE MOST HAPPY FELLA, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, HELLO DOLLY, BRIGADOON, GIGI, and WHITE CHRISTMAS.  He served as Assistant Director on the world premier of Maury Yeston’s HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN at Maine State Music Theatre in 2003.  Mr. Hodge is now a resident director at The Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham, NY.  He is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, and Actors Equity Association.
