MPATC-GE 2048 - Scoring for Film and Multimedia

Required for Film Scoring majors in graduate programs in Music Technology and Music Composition. The creative and technical processes of composing music for moving image are accomplished through film composition techniques, live recordings, and critical assessments. The practical application of software addresses electronic and live recordings, integrating key aspects of timings, MIDI-Mockups, score preparation, and music editing. Scores are composed for graduate films and animated works from the Tisch School of the Arts, as well as a library of pre-existing professional rough-cuts.
