Highlights of the Music Technology Program's facilities includes twelve recording and computer music studios, and a number of concert opportunities in various locations:
Music Technology students also have access to the Arts Technology facilities, maintained by NYU's Information Technology Services, where they can gain exposure to advanced hardware platforms for computer music, graphics, animation and multimedia. Collaborative projects can be realized by students from Music Technology and other NYU programs which combine the arts and technology, such as the Tisch Film School and the Interactive Telecommunications Program. The Arts Technology Studio houses sixteen Macintosh PowerMac computers including the most recent upgrades of multimedia software.
The Avery Fisher Center for Music and Media (AFC) located on the second floor of Bobst Library, is NYU's largest resource center for the study of media-related materials.
