Step 2: Uploading Your Audition Submission & Supplemental Material

After you submit your application successfully, you will be sent an email link to the website GetAcceptd where you can upload your audition material and pay the $55 application fee.

Audition Requirements

Submit a recording (either audio or video), that demonstrates your playing in any, or all, of the areas mentioned above. This can include: orchestral excerpts, solo performances, ensemble performances, a compilation of drum set styles, or a compilation of hand drum styles.

The recordings that are submitted will be used for placement, rather than acceptance into the program. NYU Broadway Percussion Seminar participants will be sent a portion of a Broadway show to prepare for one of the Seminar sessions with the percussionists who developed the books. Show assignments will be made based on your placement recording, experience level, previously performed shows and repertoire, and your given interest in a specific area of Broadway percussion (drum set, Latin percussion, or general percussion).

Please note: You must have your application number available in order to successfully begin the audition submission step (provided when completing the online application - step 1).
