Incoming Students Test Dates

Exams Information

Placement exams in music theory, ear training, and music history are required of students entering all graduate programs in music (excluding Music Business students who do not take these tests).

Incoming music undergraduates must take a music theory and aural comprehension exam as part of the orientation process. Please visit the orientation portal (forthcoming) for details.

Advance sign-up is not required.
