
Nicole Zuraitis is a Classical Voice major from Litchfield,Connecticut. She studies in the studio of NYU Voice faculty member Sharon Stohrer. As a freshman, she was cast as Kathleen in the department's main stage production of the musical, Ragtime. As a sophomore we appeared as a Daughter in NYU’s production of the Gilbert and Sullivan opera, Pirates of Penzance. She participated in the CAST Production of Forbidden NYU this past fall. Nicole is also a member of the NYU Jazz Choir and The Steinhardt School's Student Government. Through Student Government, she has become affiliated with the NYPD, and has volunteered at middle schools in Spanish Harlem. She also performed her original piano/vocal songs in the NYU Coffee House Series.
Nicole works as House Manager for many department stage productions, and also works in the office of Alumni and Developmental relations. Nicole is the recipient of a Jan Peerce voice scholarship at NYU. In summer 2005, she attended the Florence Voice Seminar in Italy and studied with Julian Rodescu and NYU faculty Grant Wenaus and Martha Collins.
