Student Bio: Spangler

Cassandra Spangler is currently a first-year student in NYU’s Graduate Music Business Program. She came here from San Francisco to be involved in the exciting world of independent record labels. Cassandra has recently interned at Go Kart Records, Lookout! Records, & Kork Agency. Outside of NYU, Cassandra has been active in playing drums and attending lots of live shows.

Cassandra is currently doing research for her master's colloquy on the value of culture to music consumers and whether punk rock record labels have a cultural advantage over major labels in fighting off threats from the Digital Age. Upon completion of her degree, she plans to pursue a career in entertainment law.
