Student Bio: Berkman

Peter Berkman is an undergraduate in NYU Steinhardt's Music Technology program. Peter experiments with making chip music on old videogame consoles through subversive hardware hacking and programming. This experimentation led to the start of his band Anamanaguchi. Peter and his band have played various shows on the east coast, the 2006 Blip Festival and a short stint in the UK. Recently, they were featured on MTV along with two other chip musicians. Peter is currently pursuing his studies in electronics and max/msp for use in live effects.
