Hosted by Katie Trainor (MoMA Film Collections Manager), the Museum of Modern Art featured The Orphan Film Project on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010. Presented by NYU Cinema Studies Professor Dan Streible, the program included a screening of a 35 millimeter print of A Trip Down Market Street Before the Fire (1906), with a score composed by Agatha Kasprzyk and Rafael LeLoup.
The year-round Orphan Film Project at New York University is initiated by the biannual Orphan Film Symposium, a forum for advocates of underappreciated but significant films.
