Nancy Swortzell (Adjunct Associate Professor) M.A. & D.F.A., Yale University; established the NYU Study Abroad Program in Educational Theatre in 1973, and has conducted courses in England, Scotland, and Ireland each summer since. A noted director, she has staged plays at the Provincetown Playhouse, the Frederick Loewe Theatre, and the National Theatre of Taiwan. Her work has been honored by awards from the New England Theatre Conference, New York State Theatre and Education Association, and the American Alliance for Theatre and Education.
