Teresa
is a second-year doctoral candidate in Educational Theatre and Steinhardt Doctoral Fellow.  A former mental health counselor, Teresa’s passion lies in using theatre to explore obesity and body image, most especially through Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed and Rainbow of Desire forms.  Courses taught includes: Theory of Creative Drama.  In addition to being an educator, Teresa is a director, actor, stage manager, producer, and house manager.  She is the Producer for New Plays for Young Audiences for the 2009 series.  Teresa is also involved with Looking for Shakespeare as the producer in 2008 and 2009, as well as the assistant director in 2009.
