All prospective student applications will be reviewed by the Drama Therapy faculty. A select number of applicants will be invited to attend an interview and audition with a committee of the Drama Therapy faculty and students. Applicants selected to attend auditions will be notified by mid-February. It is important to make sure that all necessary documentation is received by the Graduate Admissions office by January 4. Applications with missing data will not be forwarded for review in time for the early February selection. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Program interviews are conducted by a committee made up of program faculty, alumni, and current students.
The interview and audition will be a full day of group improvisation and individual interviews. Invited applicants should dress comfortably.
The individual interview involves discussion of the student's educational and professional background, professional and volunteer experience with client populations, knowledge about the profession of Drama Therapy, areas of interest in terms of research and readiness for advanced Drama Therapy training.
