Carolyn Webb is a dancer, choreographer and musician who works specializes in dance and music from the African Diaspora. Recent performances have taken her to Cairo, Zimbabwe, Mexico, Canada and Norway. She currently performs with the legendary Hadji Camara African Dance and Drum Ensemble, Jean Leon Destiné Afro-Hatian Dance Company and Retumbé – a women’s Afro-Hatian Dance Company and Music Ensemble. Ms. Webb is a graduate of the University of Michigan with an M.F.A. in Dance. She is on the Dance Faculty of both New York University and Queens College. In addition Ms. Webb teaches in the Public Schools through One World Arts.
