Dance Faculty Patricia Cohen wins NDEO Leadership Award

Professor Patricia Cohen, MA, RDE, is a faculty member in the NYU/Steinhardt Dance Education Program and academic advisor for the NYU/ABT Masters Degree Program with ABT Ballet Pedagogy, and serves on the faculty of the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. She is a Master Registered Dance Educator accredited by the National Registry of Dance Educators.


Professor Cohen serves as Treasurer on NDEO Board of Directors. She was a contributing writer and co-editor of a special topics issue of the Journal of Dance Education devoted to dance in the private sector. Pat is NDEO's liaison to its partner, the National Registry of Dance Educators. A certified teacher of Simonson Technique, she studied extensively with jazz legends Luigi and Matt Mattox.
