Benjamin Westphalen Composes Score for Award Winning Documentary
Congratulations to Benjamin Westphalen, masters student in the Program in Screen Scoring, for composing the score for A Dream Called Khushi (Happiness), which won the 2024 Student Academy Award Bronze in Best Documentary category.
Hajian Creates Score for PBS Series Focusing on Untold Latino History
Screen Scoring adjunct faculty member Chris Hajian composes the score for the PBS documentary series VOCES: American Historia – The Untold History of Latinos.
Louis Stevens (MM `23) Wins Los Angeles Pete Carpenter Fellowship
NYU Scoring Alum Louis Stevens (MM `23) was chosen as this year’s Los Angeles Pete Carpenter fellow, one of only two composers selected for the prestigious program. Stevens will begin his experience within the residency working with film composer Tony Morales and Fil Eisler.
