Music Composition Curriculum Doctoral

Ph.D. in Music Composition
(Degree Code: PhD:MUCP:CMP)

Minimum Requirements: 45 points

A doctoral degree represents highly personalized study working closely with doctoral adviser. General areas of study are designated with specific recommendations made in consultation with the doctoral adviser. Courses to be selected in consultation with advisor from the following areas (Recommended Courses may be viewed by clicking on Specific Area):

Remedial Coursework may be recommended as a result of testing and additional electives may be recommended based on the results of the candidacy examination.

Undergraduate 0 level courses may not be credited toward degree requirements.
