Internship in Music Business - Course may not be taken by Special and Visiting students. Access code required from a Music Business Advisor. E85.1042 • Staff. 50 hours per point: 1-6 points. Assignment to record companies, music venues, management agencies, or other music industry-related firms for on-the-job training. Written report required. Open to non-majors who are matriculated at NYU provided (1) Pre-requisite E85.0221 is completed prior to commencement of Internship, (2) student has junior standing, and (3) a minimum 2.8 GPA.

Internship in the Music Industry - Course registration only open to graduate Music Business majors. Access code required from a Music Business Advisor. E85.2510 • 50 hours per point: 2-6 points. Assignment to record companies, music venues, management agencies, or other music industry-related firms for advanced on-the-job training. Written report required. Restricted to majors in the Graduate Music Business Program.


Colloquy in Music Business - Course registration only open to graduate music business majors. Access code required from a Music Business Advisor. E85.2606 • 45 hours: 3 points. Individualized consultation guides the student through the final phase of the required master’s project. Only open to graduate music business majors.
