because I love music!

What I Like Most About Teaching:

the Students! Being able to interact with focused and enthusiastic students really helps to make teaching a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Class tips for students:

study, study, study! Also, ask questions in and out of class and be sure to listen to your fellow students’ questions/comments – you’ll find that a lot of what you learn comes from your fellow students.

Career tips for students:

persistence, determination and a good attitude. The music
industry is a competitive and challenging industry not for the faint of heart, but you’ll find that being persistent, motivated, confident (and on time!) will get you far.

Outside interests:

reading, anything to do with nature, football, record shops

Favorite Music:

This is a tough one – I like most music, but if I had to pick favorites, I’d have to say - British pop/rock, jazz, (post)modern classical and funk.
