Accelerated Global Master of Arts in Music Business Option

Accelerated Global Master of Arts in Music Business Option

Two Semesters with Global Study Requirements

Our accelerated global master of arts program in Music Business offers students the opportunity to complete the program’s full degree requirements in a year and a half while enhancing their New York-based studies with internships and courses taught abroad.

These opportunities abroad draw upon our professors’ international connections and allow NYU students to network with music business professionals in other parts of the world, learning how their practices might be the same or different.

In London:

During alternating January intersession periods, Professor Larry Miller teaches Global Music Management in London, a course focusing on the international expansion strategies of music companies. Read more about the course

In Rio de Janeiro:

During the January intersession periods in which Professor Miller is not teaching the London course, Dr. Sam Howard-Spink teaches Emerging Models and Markets for Music in Rio de Janeiro. This course explores the potential of emerging markets in developing countries such as Brazil, South Africa, India, Russia, and China. Read more about the course.
