NYU Symphony and Repertory Orchestras

The NYU Symphony and Repertory Orchestras comprise NYU's premiere orchestral organization. Every semester these popular and exciting groups present major concerts in either the state-of-the-art Skirball theatre or the proscenium-style Frederick Loewe Theatre. The NYU Repertory Orchestra will operate during the fall semester only. In the spring some members of the Repertory Orchestra may be asked based on their availability and audition to join the NYU Symphony.

Rehearsals

NYU Symphony Monday 2-4:30, Friday 10-12:30 

NYU Repertory Orchestra Monday 5:30-8, Friday 2:30-5

All Steinhardt music performance major’s must audition for placement in either the NYU Symphony or Repertory Orchestra.

All non majors are encouraged and welcome to audition for the NYU Symphony and Repertory Orchestras.
