The NYU Symphony Orchestra and the NYU Philharmonia present concerts led by world-class conductors at NYU’s Frederick Loewe Theatre and Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, as well as at off-campus venues, such as the Peter Norton Symphony Space on the Upper West Side and the Church of Saint Joseph in Greenwich Village. Membership in the Symphony and Philharmonia is mandatory for Instrumental Performance Majors; however, currently matriculating Non-Music Majors are eligible for membership based on audition and availability.
