Congratulations to the Editorial team on this quality production. I believe this journal makes a welcome addition to the field and in a format that takes the Arts into the 21st century. As a participant at the NYU Forum on Assessment in Arts Education in 2003 I recognise the significance of this venture. Keep up the good work in bringing our community together!

To the great delight of all arts educators, several E journal focusing
on the arts have recently been launched and extant journals converted to electronic mail. New York University, with its deep pockets and commitment to arts education, is sponsoring the "umbrella" publication with content centered on exemplary practices and issues in each of the major arts, content also pertinent (obviously and subtly) across the arts. The success of this journal (ARTSPRAXIS) is critical : Educational policy views the arts as a single discipline and it is at this level as well as by grade level performance that we will be judged.

This page is for ARTSPRAXIS readers to respond to any of the issues the journal has raised for them.
