Performing Arts Administration Students
The Performing Arts Administration is a graduate program that recruits candidates who have an in-depth knowledge of one art form prior to joining the program. Typically a student will have a performance background in dance, music, theatre, or opera, plus some experience in arts management. The program has taught students from over 26 countries. Through a combination of business skills courses, industry-specific courses, and internships in the field this program prepares arts executives who will be leaders in the field of performing arts in theatre, dance, music, art centers, festivals, and public arts agencies such as state arts councils and the National Endowment for the Arts.
