Mark Beauregard

Mark Beauregard, MA RDT, LCAT, is a registered drama therapist and creative arts therapist that has worked with children, adolescents and their families in New York City in various mental health settings from inpatient and outpatient psychiatry programs to school based community programs. Mark has also worked with adults within psychiatric and community settings experiencing issues of substance abuse recovery, HIV/AIDS care, and mental illness rehabilitation.

Mark is a graduate of NYU Steinhardt where he researched the use of drama therapy with transgender and gender variant children and adolescents for his master's thesis and continues to concentrate and present on the importance of gender and sexual orientation sensitivity in psychotherapy.

Currently Mark has previously served as the Vice President to the Tri-State Chapter of The National Association for Drama Therapy (NADT). He is currently the Eastern Region Representative for NADT. He is also the current Conference Chair for the NADT 2009 30th Annual Conference.

Mark maintains professional memberships with the National Association for Drama Therapy, as well as the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).
