This conference is a collaboration designed to identify and disseminate information about resources, professional development, and research related to current and emerging evidence-based instructional practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment within the framework of Response to Intervention (RtI) to educational personnel in the state of New York.

November 12, 2008 AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENTS: The Evaluation of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students
This workshop is the culmination of efforts by SETRC and district partners from Brentwood, Patchogue-Medford, Sachem and William Floyd School Districts.  This Team has developed an authentic assessment protocol for use by district psychologists and speech pathologists responsible for the evaluation of bilingual/bicultural students prior to screening by the CSE.
