Mindful Education Lab

Jennifer Ray received her BA in psychology and political science from Williams College in 2007 and completed her PhD in Social Psychology at NYU in 2017. She is broadly interested in both studying the psychology of morality and the science of character development. More specifically, her research interests include how priming reasoning versus intuition impacts moral judgments, and the psychophysiology that underlies moral decision making. Her research interests also include how character strengths can be cultivated intentionally through mindfulness and growth mindsets.
