Allison Brown

Director of Professional Development, ASD Nest

Allison Brown, MAEd, provides on-site consultation to help teachers address social and academic difficulties of students in ASD Nest program schools. She also coordinates the development of workshops for teachers and staff on best practices for students on the spectrum. Ms. Brown has been an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College and New York University, teaching courses on instructional methods for students with disabilities, and behavior theory and interventions. Allison is particularly interested in the Neurodiversity Paradigm and its application to public school education.
