Madelyn J. Boesen

Research Associate, Research and Evaluation


Madelyn J. Boesen's research and evaluation work focuses on equitable outcomes for youth. She joined the Metro Center as a Research Associate in 2015, where she works with the Center for Research and Evaluation and provides technical assistance to non-researcher staff. She previously worked in youth research and evaluation at the nonprofit organizations GLSEN and Girls Incorporated. Her research interests include school climate, positive youth development, educator professional development, extracurricular activities, and survey instrument development. She has an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a B.A. in Anthropology from Ball State University.
